Wheelchair Hire Terms and Conditions

1. The Lessor is not liable for any damage or loss incurred during the rental of this equipment.
2. The Hirer indemnifies the Lessor against all such loss or damage.
3. The Hirer agrees to pay on demand current tariff charges in respect of: 
   1. Rental Collection and Delivery Charges.
   2. Any injury or compensation claims made against the Hirer.
   3. The full amount of any damage to the equipment during the period of hire including all parts, labour, delivery, collection, postage and packaging.
   4. Charges relating to damage or loss.
4.  The Hirer must inform the Lessor immediately of any loss or damage to the equipment.
5.  The Hirer must not conduct any repairs to the equipment without the express permission of the Lessor.
6.  The Hirer must use the equipment as directed by the Lessor and must not:
   1. Exceed the payload of the equipment.
   2. Carry any other persons in the equipment than it was designed for.
7. The Hirer must return the equipment to the Lessor on the time and date specified or sooner if demanded by the Lessor.
8.  The equipment must be returned to the place specified on the Wheelchair Rental Agreement.
9.  The equipment must be returned clean, tidy and in the condition specified at the time of rental, fair wear and tear accepted.
10.  The Hirer must indemnify the Lessor against any loss incurred by reason of   breach of the conditions and terms of this contract.
11.  Upon breach of this contract and or termination of the agreed hire period, the equipment will be surrendered to the Lessor. Failure to do so will result in normal rental charges being incurred as will any costs in the recovery of the equipment.
12.  The Hirer agrees that the equipment will not be used by any person other than the signatory or their agent.
13.  Equipment must not be taken outside the UK without the express permission of the Lessor, and the Lessor will become liable for all loss or damage, however incurred, of any nature and will forfeit any deposit.
14.  The equipment shall not be used by persons who do not have express permission of the Lessor.
15.   The Hirer accepts that Dan Medica North Ltd accepts no liability under any circumstances for any inconvenience, injury, loss of profit, business or production or any similar or other loss whether direct, indirect or consequential howsoever caused.
16.  The Lessor has the right to terminate the contract at any time and for any reason.
17.  The equipment shall remain the property of Dan Medica North Ltd at all times.
